Colony Ford Lincoln is looking for a Tower Operator to join their Service team in Brampton, Ontario. The Tower Operator is responsible for controlling and distributing the flow of work to both the truck and car Service departments. The Tower Operator's focus is to maximize shop productivity and ensure that all vehicles advance through the shop in a timely and efficient manner, contributing to an overall customer experience that exceeds expectations.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 5 pm.
Job Duties:
- Distribute work to the Technicians. Organize work for the technicians at the start of the day and upon completion of each job.
- Schedule and distribute work to Used Vehicle Technicians, Car Jockeys and other Service team members as required.
- Prepare time tickets for all jobs and reconcile time tickets for payroll.
- Record required labour operation codes and warranty claims.
- Handle sublet repairs and prepare purchase orders.
- Monitor Technician progress on jobs and communicate with the Service team on any repair or promise time problems.
- Respond quickly to requests for vehicle status.
- Check for work order accuracy and close out work orders on a timely basis.
- Assemble binders and recall information.
- Monitor shop uniforms.
- Keep abreast of warranty policies and shop procedures.
- Comply with all dealership policies and procedures.
- Other duties as required.
What We Look For:
- Previous Tower Operator experience is an asset.
- CDK knowledge and training is considered an asset.
- Familiarity with automotive terminology and manufacturer warranties and procedures is preferred.
- Excellent organization and multi-tasking expertise.
- Detail oriented with good analytical aptitude.
- Solid time management and decision making capabilities.
- Effective listening and communication skills.
- Computer literate.
