Assistant Sales Manager

Georgetown Toyota looking for an Assistant Sales Manager, who will also be responsible for vehicle sales. This position is a great opportunity for an experienced Automotive Sales Representative who is looking to gain experience in a management role. The Assistant Sales Manager is responsible for developing ongoing, profitable relationships with customers and generating sales department revenue through the sale of vehicles and promotion of business products. Integrity, passion, and in-person presentation skills are essential for this role.

We are looking for individuals who enjoy working with customers and are interested in cars! Our Brand specialists help our customers choose the right vehicle for them by answering questions, determining customer wants and needs, demonstrating and presenting the products that fit their needs, & providing an exceptional experience throughout the vehicle selection and purchase process.

This role is a salary and bonus-based sales position.

Job Duties:

  • Provide customers with information regarding vehicles for sale.
  • Always maintain professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity to portray the company in a positive manner. 
  • Maintain accurate records, including sales reports, lease renewal rates, expense reimbursement forms, and other documentation.
  • Provide sales representatives with up-to-date product information.
  • Proven track record of strong lease penetration, understanding the importance of leasing and retention.
  • Address customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Assist with vehicle inventory management.
  • Other duties as required.

What We Look For:

  • 3+ years of automotive sales experience is required. (Toyota preferred but not essential for right candidate)
  • Valid OMVIC (Ontario Motor Vehicle Industry Council) license is required.
  • Valid G Ontario driver’s license is required.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, in-person, via phone and online.
  • Great organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.
