Applewood Chevrolet Buick GMC is currently looking for a PDI Technician to join their team in Mississauga.

The PDI Technician is responsible for quality control vehicle inspection and preparation for delivery of passenger cars.

Job Duties:

  • Prepare new vehicles for delivery. 
  • Follow an inspection checklist utilizing a tablet.
  • Program vehicles using factory software. 
  • Install factory option upgrades, such as side steps, exterior trim, keyless entry. 
  • Assist licensed technician to complete provincial inspection on new trucks. 
  • Manage repair orders to be completed. 
  • Remove wrap protection on new vehicles. 
  • Washing and wiping down vehicles. 
  • Install licenses plates. 
  • Park vehicles in specific order and location for drivers.  
  • Additional duties as assigned by manager.

  • Friendly and a trustworthy individual - able to work as a team.
  • Strong organization and time management skills. 
  • Strong technical/mechanical aptitude or knowledge.
  • Familiarity with using laptops and tablets.
  • A valid G driver’s license and clean drivers’ abstract.
  • Previous experience in an automotive service environment/dealership is preferred.
