The Humberview Group is looking for a Graphic Designer to join our Digital Marketing team!

As a Graphic Designer for The Humberview Group, you will create visually captivating digital and print assets for our 20 dealerships and automotive brands. Reporting to the Creative Director, you will collaborate with fellow Graphic Designers and Marketing Specialists to develop innovative, on-brand creative that strengthens our online presence and communicates our brand messages effectively.

Work Model: Hybrid. 

Work from home; with team meetings held twice a month at one of our Mississauga dealerships. Occasional dealership visits may be required.

 

Salary Range: $55,000 - $60,000 annually.

Job Duties: 

  • Create and edit visually appealing digital assets, including website banners, social media graphics, email templates, videos and digital advertisements. 
  • Translate project requirements into creative solutions, collaborating with team members to gather input and feedback.
  • Develop and execute design concepts using industry-standard software tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite). 
  • Design engaging posts and campaign assets for social media platforms.
  • Ensure consistent application of manufacturer and dealer brand guidelines across all creative.
  • Prepare and package files for both print and digital, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Optimize creative for various channels and screen sizes to maximize impact and user experience.
  • Stay current on design trends and best practices, proactively suggesting new ideas.
  • Leverage AI image and video generation tools to enhance design workflows, improve efficiency, and deliver creative, agency-level results.
  • Continuously observe and learn from AI and design technology trends, implementing new techniques and tools into projects where appropriate.
  • Seek feedback from the Creative Director and other designers, incorporating suggestions to improve design work. 
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
  • Perform other duties as required.

What We Look For:

  • A Bachelor's degree/diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.
  • Previous automotive industry experience as a Graphic Designer is required.
  • Sound understanding of graphic design theory and principles. 
  • Minimum 2 years proven experience in a fast-paced, in-house or agency design role.
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) and web/digital design tools.
  • Excellent typography, layout, and composition skills across print and digital.
  • Experience designing for email campaigns, landing pages, and digital ads.
  • Well-versed in AI-based creative tools (e.g., MidJourney, Adobe Firefly, Ideogram, DALL·E, Runway, or similar).
  • Curious learner who actively follows AI trends and applies them to design practice.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Ability to visualize and implement concepts effectively from creative brief to execution.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality work.
